If you’re looking for a wedding celebrant (my preferred term for wedding officiant or wedding minister), as well as a unique outdoor wedding location in northern New Mexico, I can help you with both! SpiriTaos is the name of my home on the edge of Taos, New Mexico and the gardens offer multiple places for performing your marriage ceremony. The preferred location is in the meadow where you cross a bridge and stand on a red sandstone platform for your marriage. If you have guests (I can accommodate up to 18) they sit on a row of flat boulders that form a garden retaining wall.
The gardens are still actively evolving, having been constructed after I moved in during the summer of 2012. The accompanying pictures give you a sense of what to expect, at least during late June! Later in the summer sunflowers start blooming all around the house and create a riot of yellows.
Visit my Locations page for more pictures and information on SpiriTaos as a Taos wedding venue.
Whatever the time of year, Taos Mountain is the dramatic and spiritual backdrop to the gardens. Occasionally it is clad in cloud, more often it is enhanced by an errant wisp of cloud or two drifting in front or over it. And most often it is standing dramatically in a pure blue northern New Mexico sky.
I’d love the opportunity to talk with you about fulfilling your desires for the perfect romantic wedding location complete with a ceremony that matches your dreams, beliefs and preferences.
