Are you looking for an outdoor wedding location in northern New Mexico? Follow this link to some pictures of a recent wedding at my home, SpiriTaos, just a few minutes north of Taos, New Mexico. My services as a marriage celebrant are available throughout northern New Mexico and if you’re looking for a unique wedding venue for your intimate marriage ceremony, my home gardens might be just perfect for you. The gardens feature a wedding altar which is accessed across a small bridge. If you have guests, they sit on large bench-like boulders and if they can take their eyes off you, they’ll be looking directly at sacred Taos Mountain.
The garden is available year round, although it is most colorful in June, July and August. That’s when the weather is the warmest here in the high desert of Taos. Taos Mountain, also called Pueblo Peak, is always the backdrop for your ceremony unless you happen to choose a day when the clouds obscure it – but that doesn’t happen often! More often the clouds dance with the peak and the light flirts with clouds.
Deanna Nelson of Poetic Images is an awesome choice as a wedding photographer in Taos, New Mexico. She photographs many weddings at SpiriTaos and knows how to capture you in the most photographic spots and in the best light. Her cheerful nature will keep you smiling so you look your best in the photographs.
After your wedding ceremony at SpiriTaos, you’re about 2 minutes and less than a mile from one of the finest dining experiences in Taos – El Meze. Or, drive another minute towards town to the infinitely-quaint and appropriately-named Love Apple and enjoy dining on locally-sourced foods. If you’re looking for impeccable service the ever-popular Lambert’s is just a couple more minutes south in the heart of the Taos Historic District on Bent Street.
Let me know the basics of your ceremony on my Contact Page so that I can get right back to you by email with my availability and any other information you’d like. We can also set up a time to meet in person, by phone or on Skype.
