Elopement Escape!

A bride and groom kiss at their elopement location on top of the world.
Kissing the evening light.

Would you like a truly extraordinary elopement experience? I am offering, through this blog only (for the moment), a very special location for my Taos elopement packages. Visit my Packages Page to see my two package options. To either of those packages, add $200 for the location featured in this photo blog.

If you're willing to hike, you can literally get married near the top of a mountain.
There’s a lot of view to take in during your ceremony, but best to keep your eyes on your beloved!

Getting married in Taos is memorable in and of itself. Embracing Ceremony strives to make sure your elopement ceremony in New Mexico is memorable as well. Add this extraordinary location and you’ll have a memory for a lifetime of this beautiful “perch!”

The couple look at each other with so much love in their eyes during the ceremony.
Oh those looks of love, they get me every time

Why the upcharge? This location is on private land and requires a permit fee. It also includes additional driving and hiking time. Yes, hiking. Well, climbing. To get to this spot you need to be fit. There isn’t a trail per se, but rather a very steep scramble up loose scree. Others have done it and you can too. I do not recommend it for guests unless they are few and fit. Hiking boots are mandatory for the climb that takes 15-30 minutes depending on your fitness level. You can carry up other clothes/footwear and change behind a tree!
