Have you ever considered an art museum wedding or elopement? It’s a fun twist and very unique! There are lots of museums in Taos and I know at least some of them accommodate weddings because I’ve officiated there.

But there is one special museum that I think offers a bit more than others. And that is the Taos Art Museum located in the Fechin House.
Fechin House Weddings
The Fechin House not only houses an extraordinary art collection, but the architecture is worth seeing itself. The story of Fechin can be found here. He was an accomplished artist as well as wood carver which is my favorite aspect of the house. Imagine a couple of your wedding photos with the backdrop of ornate wood carving!

Embracing Ceremony Packages

If you’re eloping, I have a special arrangement with the Taos Art Museum and can arrange to have your ceremony there. See my Packages Page for more information. We can even arrange to have your ceremony in a room of the Fechin House which is not typically used for weddings. In addition to the sun-drenched second story room for your ceremony, there is the Fechin Studio which has amazing light from the immense north window. Or the grounds themselves offer a serene garden amongst the mature trees.
Taos Art Museum as a Venue
If you’re planning a larger wedding, visit this page at Taos Art Museum for more information on the many options they can accommodate in an event. It is a memorable spot for your wedding and the staff is incredibly pleasant to work with. It truly is a unique wedding location in northern New Mexico!

The Taos Art Museum is centrally located to lots of accommodations and restaurants. One really great hotel is the WorldMark Taos which is located immediately adjacent to the Taos Art Museum. That makes it really easy to walk to your ceremony! If you’d like a complete listing of wedding-related resources you can enter your email address at the bottom of any page on my website to receive my free resource guide.
