Book Early!

tres piedras (2 of 2)Booking your marriage celebrant early assures you a good selection of professionals. There are many excellent wedding officiants serving Taos and northern New Mexico. Anyone “shopping” for a wedding celebrant knows their own criteria which vary greatly from couple to couple. Sometimes you may just know from a picture or content on an officiant’s website. It may be the testimonials that give you the level of comfort to move ahead with working with a particular Taos wedding minister. The point of this blog is to encourage you to start early so when it comes to making a choice you aren’t left with your first choice(s) being unavailable. This can be especially true if you’re looking at a popular date, peak season or a Saturday.

If you’ve stumbled upon this blog I’d encourage you to get a sense of my style by perusing my website. Particularly you might want to read some of the testimonials I’ve received or even go to an independent site and read my testimonials on Wedding Wire. I’m very grateful to the many couples I’ve worked with that have been willing to take the time and effort to post these reviews.

tres piedras (1 of 2)I think it is important to have a conversation with your prospective wedding officiant choices. I make myself available by phone, Skype or in-person for couples in the Taos area for a no-obligation conversation. (Scheduling this in advance assures you I’ll be available and can give you my full attention. A great place to start is by filling out my contact form so I know before we start if I’m available for your location and on your date.) There are a wide variety of questions you may want to ask and I’m here to help, whether you end up deciding to work with me or not. One popular question, especially for smaller destination weddings, is for suggestions of a venue or scenic spot for your outdoor wedding location. Other questions may involve accommodation of particular spiritual beliefs, a recommendation for a photographer or where to plan a romantic after-ceremony dinner. I can help with all these and more. If you want endorsements for a fabulous location, I’m here to tell you about a Taos destination wedding!
